The board of directors of IA-FraMCoS awarded the Young Researcher Best Paper Award as well an international travel support grant to participants of the FraMCoS XII conference.

Young Researcher Best Paper Award

IA-FraMCoS created in 2012 a Young Researcher Best Paper Award. This award is granted at each FraMCoS conference to one or more best papers authored by a research scientist under the age of 40.

While the paper may be co-authored with senior colleagues, the young researcher must be the first and presenting author.

The award selection panel was chaired by the Chair of FraMcoS XII Bernhard Pichler, IA-FraMCoS President-Elect Jia-Liang Le, and former IA-FraMCos President Chandra Kishen.

International Travel Support for Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Fellows / Researchers

IA-FraMCoS will also again provide an international travel support grant amounting ranging expectedly from USD 500 to USD 750 (depending on the final number of awards) to young researchers from low-developed countries.

Eligibility criteria:

  1. PhD student or post-doctoral fellow in an academic institution in a low-developed country
  2. Presenter of an accepted full paper
  3. Registered for the conference and paid the respective registration fee

Interested candidates are asked to apply for the travel support grant by March 7, 2025 by returning the application form.
